A room that somehow connects her past to her present. It's very much a plot-driven story, told from the POV of our protagonist, Lisa, who is the newest tenant of the "Spare Room". However, that's not to say it's a bad book and for the most part it was suspenseful.ish, keeping a somewhat tenuous hold on my interest. Dreda’s family are from the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada and her name is pronounced with a long ‘ee’ sound in the middle. Dreda was born and raised in the East End of London where she continues to live. She was the 2011 chair of the Theakston Harrogate Crime Fiction Festival.
