![]() ![]() I really like the fact that the book is funny all the way through. I think Derek Landy is good at inventing characters and the magic that they do. Some locations are better than others, like the Underground Caves, which are more interesting and exciting than the car park! In the Underground Caves are creatures that feed on magic. If 3 billion people die, she'll have enough power to make the passage. Each time a person dies, the Death Bringer (who is a Necromancer) gets more energy. In this book the Necromancers are the bad guys but in the other books they were more or less neutral. The other characters are either mages, sorcerers, creatures like vampires and even a hologram person. Only one of them is a normal person (he's a journalist). There are lots of characters and most of them have ridiculous names like Bison Dragonclaw, Auron Tenebrae and Solomon Wreath. ![]()
